Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
